Raised approximately $5,000+ in about two months, alongside Eye See Me African-American Children's Bookstore and A Red Circle Non-Profit, to provide over 300 students the ability to choose one take-home book from hundreds of books as their choices. All the books intentionally reflected mirrors, not windows- these books featured characters who looked like the students AND had positive storylines that didn't rely on stereotypes about families or kids of color.
